About Willow

German Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Greetings, Meet Willow, a lovely young German Shepherd. Willow was found abandoned as a stray in Richmond at the end of November 2023. She was taken in by a animal shelter in the Metro Vancouver area. While living in the shelter, she developed some barrier and leash reactivity, which put her at risk of euthanization. She's been adopted by a pair of animal lovers in Vancouver who thought she deserved a chance to overcome her challenges, but she still needs your help! Her adopters are not able to care for her long term for a range of reasons, but they took her on to keep her safe in the short term. They are also giving her the chance to work with a trainer so she can overcome her challenges. Willow is in desperate need of finding a long term foster or better yet, a forever home. If you or anyone you know are interested and able to help, please send us an email at: [email protected] Otherwise, we would appreciate you sharing this page with anyone you know. Willow is a lovely dog. Since entering the home of her adopters, she has settled in and proved that she makes a wonderful pet. She is full of life, she walks nicely on leash and enjoys exploring all the scents the outside world has to offer. She loves to play fetch and run around in an open field. At home, she loves to spend time napping on the couch, cuddling, and having her belly rubbed. Willow is between 1 and 2 years old, 75 lbs., is spayed, dewormed and deflead, and is up to date on her vaccinations. Thanks for taking the time to read about Willow's story!
