[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Byron came to us when his human who had adopted him in the fall of 2023 went into the hospital and was going to be unable to care for him long term. Byron had a perianal hernia which we had repaired along with a mass removal and he has recovered well. The mass was a very low grade soft tissue sarcoma but the vet was able to get clean margins and it is a slow growing type so it should not create any issues for him in the coming years. Byron is a very well mannered boy with a sweet and loving temperament. He has gotten along with all of his 4 legged housemates and also every person he has met. He walks nicely on a leash, does fine in a crate though also has excellent house manners, and is doing well with the potty routine in his foster home though we always expect that a dog with require some time to adjust to a new home. Byron is also on anti-seizure meds but has not had any seizures since coming into rescue so seems very well controlled. He is now at a healthier weight at 12-13 lbs and is estimated around 5 years old.
