Looking for rescue/adopt/foster. Based on some comments I have gotten from others when I initially posted looking for the owners, it sounds like they were dumped at an office building outside my neighborhood a few days ago. They are not microchipped. Based on their teeth, the vet estimated they were about 1-2 years old and that they were siblings. He also thought they had great temperments. The black one ('Butter') is female, not spayed, and 45 lbs; she has an appointment to be spayed this Monday (2/26) though. The tan one ('Bread') is male, not neutered, and 50 lbs. They do not have any fleas/ticks and are parasite and heartworm NEGATIVE. I have gotten them fully vaccinated (Rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP). They also have been started on heartworm/flea prevention. They are very friendly and obedient. They also know basic commands (sit, down, come) and tricks (catch, fetch, drop it). The two of them have the most amazing bond. All the animal rescues and no-kill shelters that have been contacted are either at fully capacity or are only accepting small dogs. Animal control is willing to come get them, but we didn't want to send them to a kill shelter. We have two other dogs and just don't have enough space for them long term.
