Mustang was a stray found in Tennessee w/a 4 month old puppy who we have named Chevy. Together they lived in the woods. They're some what bonded and we'd love to keep them together yet we know in this day and age, it's hard for some to take on 2 dogs. Chevy is listed separately. We are NOT sure of his breed but everyone believes he is a Mountain Cur dog. Regardless he is a LOVER. Mustang was recently vetted and neutered. Vet puts him at 2yrs old but says he maybe a tad younger. He's been completely vetted so he's turn key ready. He's great on a leash, loves car rides, house trained, couch potato, and loves all humans. Now other then Chevy, he is dog selective. He also has some food aggression yet w/Chevy she doesn't go near his food. Who can blame him? Him and Chevy were eating dead animals in the wild. He's great w/Chevy coming near his food but another dog he's not. That's the only 'con' about him. Otherwise, we've taken him out shopping and people loved him. We have video's there showing his personality. He's 67 pounds of love. He also has 2 dewclaws on each of his back paws. How we work... We do not do direct adoptions. We do foster to adopt on all our pets. This allows time for the adopter to make sure our rescue fits perfectly in their family and it also allows us time to see if the adopter fits well into our adoption family. Must live in NJ. Must have a fully fenced in yard. Chip stays chipped to rescue but adopter will be added. We look for forever homes. If you cant commit to 'furever' then our babies are not for you.
