About Joslyn

Calling all folks who are looking for a Joslyn, aka Speckles! If you have stepped up as a possible adopter, there are some requirements. You have to be looking for a 6 year old, 15 pound, beautiful black and white chihuahua. You must have yummy treats around because this girl is a foodie. This is not a must, but it would be great if you had another or other little dogs around for her to play with. She ignores the big dogs and the cats but overall seems to love having a pack around her. Joslyn requires a fenced back yard because she is terrified of a leash. And here is the biggie - as a possible new parent to Joslyn you have to have patience and lots of love to give. This little girl is learning that not all people are bad, that belly rubs and kisses can be a great thing, that toys are fun and it is possible to live in a wonderful home where you never have to worry about a bad life. Joslyn is currently afraid of men and has just recently relaxed around her foster mom. She is learning the ropes of house manners and is not crate trained. Did I mention patience? This baby will require loads of time, love and guidance as she is allowed to become the wonderful family dog that she was meant to be.
