About Jax

I am seeking a new home for my 3.5 year old neutered male vizsla/yellow lab mix, who is an amazing family dog with lots of energy and affection to give! He requires plenty of exercise and playtime, and loves being around his people., including getting hugs and sitting on laps and sleeping under the covers. Now on to the challenge: over the past year and half he has shown some aggressive tendencies. Barking at the ups man so bad he threw the package at the door afraid he was going to come at home. The worst was when my husband called him off the bed and gently reached for his collar. He lunged and bit him causing bruising and blood. He has also barred his teeth defensively to myself and my daughter. Sadly we just cannot give him the time and attention he requires to correct this behavior. We have had a recent medical diagnosis in the family and need to redirect our focus.
