Snoopy is a two-year, male, black/gray, beagle mix (we think). He weighs 30lbs. At first, we thought he might be older, but his teeth are white and young. He is not an old dog. He just has that white face. We posted Snoopy a couple weeks ago when he arrived with his friend Trigger. They were in the shelter together, but not bonded. We have no idea if they even came into the shelter together. These were the two dogs who were on the 3pm euthanasia schedule and our rescue saved them before they were killed. So happy to have saved their life. Snoopy is a total love bug. He walks on a leash, is house-trained (Yay), gets along well with other dogs and is a sweet, gentle boy. The only issue Snoopy's foster mom is having is Snoopy gets a little too excited about the cats. He does not go crazy towards them, but is too curious. And, the cat, knowing there is only a baby gate between them, loves to lay on the other side of the baby gate just to taunt poor Snoopy. Snoopy might be fine with the cat, but foster mom feels Snoopy can get a little excited and can visualize a chase opportunity. Snoopy is such an awesome dog. We have no idea what his life was like before the shelter and why he was there. We do know that our rescue will work hard to make sure the rest of his life is the best of his life.
