About Bandit

Bandit is a 1 1/2, male, Maltese mix who weighs 8lbs. He is black/white with gorgeous long fur that will need to be groomed. Bandit was an owner surrender and his actual birthday is 5/1/23. Sadly, due to apartment rental prices, Bandit's owner was forced to work two jobs keeping her away from home in excess of 12-14 hours per day. Her two dogs were left in crates all those hours and on weekends. Bandit's owner felt the best option was to surrender both dogs to a good rescue who will place them into loving homes where they will receive the attention and love they so deserve. Bandit is not yet neutered and pending his neuter surgery and vetting. Because Bandit lived in an apartment situation, he is fully leash trained and walks well on a leash. Bandit will require additional house training and needs some additional puppy training. Please remember, Bandit is only nine months old and still a puppy. He is very smart, loving, gets along well with other dogs, loves to play and will require good structure for additional training. Bandit will also need good exercise and long walks to help with puppy energy. For only being nine months, he is a very well behaved little guy. Bandit is a small breed Maltese mix and can have a life span of eighteen years. Bandit was adopted and returned due to be very active and owner was having hip surgery. Please remember, this is a very long, life commitment to this sweet boy. No children. He is good with other dogs and cats. Adoption fee: $500
