About Dexter

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- San Tan Valley, AZ Meet Dexter! He is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix and weighs around 45 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Dexter is good with dogs, cats, and older children! No younger children, due to his reactivity! Dexter bit a child on the face after the owner's child's friend went to pick up a toy from the ground. This occurred in the same area where children were playing. He also bit another friend of the owner's child after he came around the corner in the kitchen. Dexter lunged at his face and bit him. Both of these bite incidents were unprovoked. The owner is surrendering him because he is aggressive towards small children. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Dexter, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Dexter.
