About Moose

Moose has been with me for 4 or 5 years now. He came from a neglect situation. He has lived with me and a 10 pound chihuahua, a 75 pound labradoodle, and a 30 pound mixed terrior breed. All male dogs. With no issue- play fighting but no real aggression. We gor a recent addition with a friend and his dog who moved in with us a month ago. Moose has developed jealousy with the new, younger bigger dog. He has attacked him 2 times now. Moose is usually a laid back, easy going dog who loves to run. When he came to be it took him a year to get over his separation anxiety. Moose would be great in a single dog home or even a 2 dog home. He will chase cats but he's never attacked one. He also chased chickens but learned not to. He is smart and loving and needs someone who can get him more exercise and solitary attention. He has never shown aggression towards kids or adults. He takes a little time to warm up to strangers.
