About Aurora

A little about her: Aurora is a 5 year old female, short haired Lab-German Shepherd mix. She is approximately 85 lbs, has been spayed, has all of her vaccines up to date. She's potty trained and knows basic commands such as sit, come, stay, leave it, lay down, drop it, shake or kiss. She's able to stay inside well throughout a normal workday without needing to go potty. During her life, she's lived with and have gotten along very well with several people and a little dog. She enjoys playing fetch with her ball and eats a variety of treats. She has no allergies, doesn't have a sensitive stomach, or skin. She doesn't mind baths or nail trims, and enjoys jumping into the bath when told. She also really loves water, like the beach and puddles! Aurora is very calm within the home and likes to take naps during the day. She's very fun and loving. She can be reactive however to new people and animals who come up quickly and randomly. She has a lot of energy which can cause reactivity. Aurora struggles being reactive to people and dogs she does not know and that get close to her without any type of introduction. She has never bitten another person or animal but has snapped in the direction of both. In addition, while walking she does pull. But I think that's fixable with her energy being used and more activity. She is a protective breed, and exudes some of those characteristics but she is loving and fun and she has a lot of potential and she would be better with someone who has room and time for that potential.
