About Champagne

Meet Champagne! She's small now but she's got a great big heart! She's looking for a home that will nurture her and help her grow to be the best dog ever. She and her half-sister Kissy are sweet little mutts that are sure to steal your heart. Champagne is a very smart little girl. While she might be shy, give her the love she deserves and she will be your best friend. She's curious and good on a leash, and she likes other animals. Besides seeing what the world has to offer, she's also very motivated with food and praise. Like any puppy, she needs training, but she'll be a very good learner! Earn her trust and she will make you ask 'who rescued who?' If you'd like to have Champagne join your family, please apply! Fetching Hearts Rescue requires all adopters to go to training with puppies. This is the most important time for them to learn. We also require that they will not be left alone more than 2-3 hours a day. Puppies are a lot of work and require tons of attention, time and dedication. We take our pups very seriously!! Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
