About Foxy Brown

Foxy Brown is the SWEETEST dog you might ever meet! We named her Foxy because her backside looks just like a fox! She was found abandoned/neglected and now just wants love and companionship. We rescued her off the euthanasia list because we could tell there was something special about her & we were right. She is sweet, loyal, funny and the best dog ever! We rescued with the intent to foster her to good health. She was very sick when we rescued her and after a few months of various ailments she is now thriving. This girl is strong-willed and a survivor! Foxy likes to play with other dogs, but she does lack some manners & social skills so she would do best either as an only dog or with dogs who don't mind being bossed around a bit. She is GREAT with kids! She had a severe heart murmur when we rescued her, which has since gotten significantly better we believe from getting healthy & having love. We do keep her on heart medicine, but we reduced the daily amount and she has been doing great. It is possible she doesn't need it at all. However, she has a good amount of energy so we do monitor her activity closely so she doesn't overdo it. She loves to play ball and even plays with her feet a bit! She loves to be brushed and pet & she likes going on short walks and to be outdoors just hanging out or playing ball or frisbee. She is very smart and we have taught her to sit, wait for her food, and to go poop when asked! Because she is loved and cared for we will patiently wait for the right human to adopt this one-of-a-kind, amazing dog.
