About Cody

Cody is a three year old Catahoola/ Aussie cross. He has been neutered and is chipped. He has never had an accident in the house. Totally housebroken. I am guessing that he weighs about 100#. I need to find a home for him as soon as possible. He has been raised around a small dog,(13#), and has recently turned aggressive with him. There has been two incidents, and I cannot take the risk of him seriously hurting him. My husband and I are both 82 and not in good health. I am currently going through chemo for pancreatic cancer and he is just too big of a dog for us to handle.. I believe that Cody would do well in a home with no other dogs. We also have a Catahoula in our home, and they get along ok. Also, he has never been around kids, and that is kind of concerning. This dog just needs a lot of love and someone who has the time and energy to work with him. He absolutely loves my husband and will sit and let him pet for hours. Would do well in an adult home. He has always been an indoor dog, and sleeps in a crate at night.He just wants love, and someone to help him learn what he needs. He is not a dumb dog, he has just not had anyone to teach him. He could be an amazing dog!
