About Hugh

Hugh is a very sweet, 9 month old Australian Shepherd/Husky/Lab Mix. We are moving and cannot take him with us, as he needs a sizeable yard for running. Hugh has been great with our three daughters, ages 7, 10 and 14. He is neutered, and crate trained. Hugh is potty trained as well. He gets along with other dogs, our cat, and our rabbit. He does not do well with free-roam chickens, as he plays with them. He has not killed a chicken but has carried one around in his mouth when unsupervised. He likes our rabbit and hasn't bothered it so I don't know what it is about chickens but that is something to keep in mind. He also will eat any food that is available to him, so it's a good idea to feed him separately from any other pets you may have. He needs plenty of exercise and stimulation. He learns quickly, loves to cuddle, and is a curious, happy boy.
