About Ted

This dog (which we now call Ted) was dumped on our property in November. We have been fostering him since then with the expectation that he would be taken in by the Local Bully Rescue. We have gone so far as to take him to the Bully Rescue for a temperament test (which he passed) as well as had him neutered per their request. It now seems that the Bully Rescue does not have room for him and I need to find a home for Ted ASAP! Ted is a male between 1 & 2 years old If I were to guess. He is very sweet and very playful with our immediate family. He has had some training as he will sit and shake. He LOVES to ride inside of a truck. He will sit in the back seat of a pickup better than some people I know. As you can see he even jumped in the trunk of the car one day in hopes of going for a ride. Ted hates cats! I have male cow dog that is jealous of Ted and his closeness to me. Consequently, my dog will growl and snap at Ted. Although not the aggressor or antagonizer Ted will stand up for himself and it doesn't end well for my dog. As I mentioned before he is very sweet and loving to our family but he has over time adopted this as his home and has become very protective of the front yard. If you come into the yard and Ted doesn't know you, he can be very aggressive. He recently snapped at someone who drove into our yard and got our of their vehicle. I would hope that with some training that this trait could be trained out of him. I want to mention that I do not know how he would be around small children. If you or you know of someone that would give Ted a good home please let me know. It would be best to have a home with a fenced yard. He has trained himself to an invisible fence.
