It is with a heavy heart I do this. Sassy Mae needs rehoming and fast at that. She is such a sweet girl with humans but when it comes to other dogs, she has developed terrible aggressiveness. She is very territorial over her toys and food. She has recently attacked both my golden retrievers for no apparent reason and it was nearly impossible to get her off of them. She was aggressive with Lilo (golden) over toys before Lilos surgery but when Lilo came back home, it has been to a completely new level and for no reason. She IS SO SWEET with people-kids and adults! Not an aggressive bone in her to that manner, but she absolutely needs to be the only dog in the home! It breaks my heart to do this as I am the one who adopted her but it's not fair to the dogs who were here first, or her, because they are having to stay in their kennels separated. She is still young so I know she can still bond with the right person and be their forever dog! She deserves it! If I can't find her a home soon, she will have to go back to the shelter and I really want to avoid that if possible. She is UTD on vaccines/preventions. Approximately 7 months old. Please help me find Sass a loving forever home! I am a veterinary student and she was my first patient, so she holds a very special place in my heart! She loves to play fetch and lay on the couch to snuggle with you! The only reason for the adoption fee is to insure she is going to a good and loving home that is serious about her health and well-being! We believe she is a boxer/pit mix
