About Tiger

Tiger is in emergency status. Rescuing her is a lifesaving emergency rescue. The sadness in her eyes as a forgotten dog who never mattered until now. All she wanted was to be noticed. Now it may be too late. Her name is #TIGER #A2486744 and she is one of the FORGOTTEN DOGS at Medley brought over to Doral and given a DEADLINE. She came in to the shelter 8 MONTHS AGO (7/11/23) as a 7 year old (58lb) unaltered, overweight, HW positive dog with enlarged mammary glands. Used for breeding and discarded like trash. Shortly after she arrived she was transported over to Medley a shelter not open to the public. She went from an abused, neglected dog to a forgotten dog. She was never taken out, never shown compassion or socialized. She just sat in a filthy hot cage for months. She was finally transferred over to Doral where she remained a forgotten and overlooked dog who was terrified. She sits in her kennel now trembling in fear. She was put in playgroups and her fear worsened. On 2/15 the shelter notes stated they would continue to place her in playgroups but instead they issued a deadline. In the 7 months of being at this shelter, they did nothing to comfort her as a terrified little girl. She loves the female employees who showed her attention.
