About Magnolia

Meet Magnolia Magnolia is a young mama kitty who is ready to find her forever home! She is a tiny thing, somewhere between one and two years old, and recently came to us with her little girl Evangeline. Magnolia is a beautiful torti with a sweet personality and a big heart. We aren't sure what happened to Magnolia to get her into this situation, but nothing has daunted her. From day one she has been sweet and loving, with a big purr and offering lots of snuggles. Magnolia is a quiet little girl who just needs a soft place to land. We hope she won't have to wait long to find her forever home. Magnolia is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. If you don't receive this email within 24 hours, please check to make sure all application fields were completed or please call our shelter at 706-865-4135. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Our shelter is currently closed to the general public as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. However, for approved adopters we are making appointments to meet and adopt your fur baby.
