About LUKE

Meet Luke, he is a Jack Russell mix. 1-2 years old and weighs �'�|12 lbs. Luke was living in a back yard with a cone on his head 24/7 ���� General Behavior: Luke is a super sweet loving dog ready to smother you in kisses. He loves cuddling up with his owner on the couch or with another small dog . His favorite place to be is right by his owner . He will let you know if someone knocks on the door or is outside. Likes & Dislikes: This little guy loves playing with small stuffed toys, cuddling on the couch , getting treats and going on walks . Luke does not like big dogs or male dogs. Training: Luke is house trained and has not had any accidents in the fosters house. He's taken out a few times a day. He walks well on his leash and likes to explore. Luke behaves well on car rides. He likes to sleep near his owner . Luke is considered a high risk escape artist. He must have a secure yard and have everyone in the home trained on not opening doors with him Loose in the house. Medical: Luke tested positive for heart worms and is currently on treatment. Foster must commit to giving him his meds. Other animals: Luke is female dog friendly and plays well. However, he does not like big or male dogs . Children: due to his high risk in fleeing, Luke needs to go to a home with no small Children. Home: Luke would Do best in a home with a secure fenced yard to run in. Due to his small Size and flight risk, Luke must always be supervised when outside even with a fenced yard. A home with people around since he likes being around people. Everyone must be trained not to open the front door since Luke likes to run out. Grooming: Luke's coat is very short and barely sheds. He only needs his regular baths , ear cleaning and nail Trims. Overall: Luke is a very sweet boy and deserves a committed adopter that will give him lots of love.
