About Basil

Hi there, I'm Basil, but my friends call me Bagel. I'm a 6-year-old hound and staffie mix, with some beagle in me too (hey DNA doesn't lie!). I'm neutered and fully vaccinated, so you don't have to worry about anything. I'm also house-trained, which means I know where to do my business. I'm not a fan of sharing my humans with other dogs, but I promise I'll give you all the love and attention you need. I'm a very friendly and playful guy who loves to show off my toys to everyone who visits. I have a lot of toys, and I'll bring them all to you to show you how much I like you. I also love to play with my toys by myself, so you don't have to worry about me getting bored. I'm very good at entertaining myself. Some people would call me a couch potato, but I admit I enjoy snuggling on the sofa with my humans. I'm a big goofball who likes to make people laugh with my silly antics. I'm very loyal and affectionate, and I'll follow you around like a shadow. I just want to be near you and make you happy. I need a home with a fenced yard where I can go outside and play safely. I'm very good with children, but I prefer older ones who can handle my size and energy. I have a very waggy tail that can knock over small kids or fragile items. I don't mean to, but I can't help it.
