About Bear

Bear is a beautiful 3 year old tri-color Australian Shepherd. He's a big boy!! He is up to date on vaccines and neutered. Bear is an incredibly happy-go-lucky pup who enjoys walks, playtime, and cuddling on the couch with his humans. If you need some extra joy in your life - in a larger package, he's your guy! He is house trained and very loyal and playful. He sometimes forgets his size and is under the impression he is a lap dog! He will always want to be by your side and you'll never not see his butt wiggling from excitement or his goofy smile. Bear is great with basic commands and he likes his crate. He is looking for a home with either another confident, playful dog or a home where he might be the only dog, but still have opportunities to socialize with other dogs - maybe neighbor's and family's dogs. He has been in doggy daycare before and he did very well. He will bark when he wants his human's attention to get some scratches or a belly rub. Bear will need more training (as is the case with most rescue dogs!) - he is good on the leash, but needs to learn to keep all four paws on the ground. Bear is a total treasure for anyone looking for a larger pup who has the looks - this guy is a show-stopper. The foster prefers Bear to have a meet and greet before adoption.
