Pippa is/could be a great companion for the right person/couple. She is a good girl and very loving in a one on one environment. With the right person, attention and some rehabilitation, I truly believe she would be an excellent companion. Pippa is food aggressive, not good with any other animals at this time, but if someone had the time to work on her socialization'|that could change. She has never been around male dogs but she is definitely not fond of other female dogs. Due to no fault of her own, Pippa is in need of a new home ASAP. Her current owner recently gained unexpected custody of 2 children and Pippa is not very trustworthy around children. She has never hurt a child, but she has snapped at a small child that got too close to her food bowl. The current home situation requires multiple baby gates and barriers to make certain to keep Pippa and the children separated for safety concerns. If you have the time and compassion to dedicate to Pippa to help her rehabilitate, you could save her life. The bottom line is'| the shelters are full and animal control will automatically euthanize her if handed over because she 'has shown signs of aggression'. Please contact me if you think you could give Pippa a good, low anxiety home with no children or other pets.
