Working Cat Program allows free adoption of working cats from Salt Lake County Animal Services. Cats undergo procedures like spaying/neutering, vaccination, microchipping, and ear tipping for identification before adoption. They're then acclimated to insulated enclosures on the adopter's property for two weeks to observe their new environment. After release, adopters provide ongoing care, shelter, food, water, and veterinary attention.
