About Cocoa

Looking for an easy-breezy dog who requires minimal effort on your part to become friends? Cocoa is your girl! She's very easy to be around and can happily keep herself entertained with her nose. She's got a super sniffer and likes to investigate everything around her. She's perfectly content to lope around and to her own thing. While independent, she loves love! Nothing makes her happier than being pet, and she'll stay calmly by your side for as long as the ear scratches and back rubs continue. Cocoa has a low to average energy level. She hasn't shown much of an interest in toys, or even treats. In keeping with her unostentatious personality she's not a show off. She doesn't seem to know any tricks yet, but she does walks well on a leash. Cocoa came into the shelter alongside another dog (Waylon A044660). Both had microchips, but unfortunate despite trying to contact their owner they were never reclaimed. Cocoa is a 3YO Lab who came into the shelter as a stray on 1/29/24. She weighs 75 lbs.
