About Phoenix

73% doberman, 27% goofball. You need a Phoenix in your life!! Ready to go home TODAY! This boy is super dog friendly and would do great in a home with a friend, but would also be ok with being the center of your world and your forever Valentine! Phoenix came to the shelter about a year ago with a terrible skin infection and barely any hair. One of our awesome fosters took him in and helped him recover, then he was adopted! Recently, he was taken to another local animal control where they were told he was a stray, but it was actually his adopter. We picked him up and now he's on the hunt for a family who won't dump him after a year. In a previous home, Phoenix was known to be very protective of the mom of the family and didn't really love the energy level of the young boys. We think Phoenix would be a great addition to a dog savvy family who knows how to divide his care so that he doesn't get overly attached to just one person. Phoenix is potty trained, has basic manners, is great on a leash, is a snuggle expert, loves to zoom zoom, is a little derpy and loves to de-stuff stuffies as his favorite past time! He is so sweet, will be your protector and loyal companion. We even have a copy of his DNA results from his previous foster home which shows he is a 73% doberman and the rest is a good boy!! He's a super happy guy who really needs his next home to be his forever one!
