To meet RUDOLPH and be considered for adoption you must first submit an ADOPTION APPLICATION using this link- https://form.jotform.com/232395363383057 or by filling out an application on our website- www.aplaceofhoperescue.com RUDOLPH is a 9 month old, 8 1/2 pound Norwich Terrier mix who was surrendered to us LOCATION: Pensacola, FL NEEDS: Fenced yard, a small furry playmate, love and patience. Rudolph is a cute little guy who has not been handled very much in his short time in this world. He is timid and shy with people and skittish when someone tries to pick him up. He is a happy boy but he is not socialized and needs a family who will be patient with him and help him learn how to dog! Rudolph is very good with other small dogs (big dogs scare him). He loves to play with the other little dogs in his foster home and is going to get a lot of confidence from having another young playful dog in his new home. He has not been tested with cats or kids. Kids would probably also scare him with loud noises and fast movements. Rudolph is going to prefer a quieter home. Rudolph knows how to use a doggy door and is doing great with his housebreaking. He loves toys and enjoys exploring outside. He absolutely requires a secure, fully fenced yard. He can be barky and is not a good fit for an apartment. At night Rudolph sleeps in a dog bed in the bedroom. He has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, has been wormed, is heartworm negative, is on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Rudolph is an adorable pup with a lot of potential for someone willing to work with him and teach him at the world is not a big scary place! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
