Mable is a loving cat who is easy to handle. She is a couch potato and loves to watch the birds outside the windows. Her owners passed away, and she was left outside for a long time because the house was on the market and she had no place to go. The mailman continued to care for her every day for many months and finally delivered her to us, along with our usual mail. We gladly took in Mable, brought her to the vet and sponsored all of her medical costs. She was worth it. Now she looks better each day and is ready for a home that appreciates a cat who has survived bad times but still has love to give. Mable is FIV+ but that doesn't stop her from being a good companion. FIV+ is a cat-only virus. It is not contagious to people and dogs and is not easily passed between cats, but talk to your vet if you have cats who are not FIV+. Many FIV+ cats live normal lives. Adoption fee includes all the things she'll need for a smooth transition to your home. In addition to her favorite food and litter, she'll have her toys, cat bed, carrier and food dishes which will carry her own familiar scent. She'll feel right at home in no time!
