Simba is a beautiful dog. He is housebroken, great with kids of all ages, super sweet, loves to play with his toys. Catches and retrieves his toys. There is more great about this dog then some 'behavior' issues. He loves to get into the trash can and take whatever he can outside and eat it. I do have a doggy door and other dogs. He likes to take things off the table (food) and counter if he can reach them and take them outside. If my grandsons (5&4) happen to have something in their hands edible, he likes to lick it out of their hands. He does bark at things he should. He's a great protector and tends to love females more than males. When I am walking and he is laying on the ground, he doesn't move unless I tell him to. When one of my grandsons are upset, Simba will lay next to them, lick them and get close. Somewhat like an emotional support dog. I just do not have the time to train or put things in place to correct this behavior. My son in law and my daughter have both passed away and raising these little boys is a few full time jobs. I've had a recent injury at work and am having surgery on Friday. My house is so small and he deserves so much more. I have a huge yard he loves to play and run in. He lives with 3 little dogs and 1 medium size dog. Does great with all. Not sure about cats.
