About Isla

Isla is a delightful, highly trainable rough collie full of personality. She's a wonderful companion who will want to hang out with you without being clingy. She loves a good walk or a romp with dog friends, but is not demanding of a lot of exercise. She can be reactive to new stimuli but with positive counter-conditioning she quickly learns to take new things in stride. Isla cannot go to a home with cats or young children. Older children who are calm around her would be fine. We are parting with this beautiful girl only because we both work away from home and can't meet her needs. We will ONLY let her go to a home in the Portland Metro area so she can make a gradual transition to her new home. We would be very happy to be 'grandparents' to her and will gladly take care of her while you're out of town.
