About CHARLIE

Boston Terrier
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Name: Charlie Age: DOB 10'/9/23 Sex: Male (not neutered) Breed: Boston Terrier (10 pounds) Location: Jackson County, MO Charlie is a precious little fellow born with hydrocephalus. A seizure at four weeks old left him blind (his vet assessed vision loss as permanent), but he has had no seizures since then. His owner feels he has greater needs than they can provide, but tells us he is a very active and happy puppy! Vet Info: Charlie's owner tells us Charlie is up to date with vaccines and writes, 'We did all de-worming's at home and provided the 8-10 week shots. The 6 week shots were done at the vet.' We have confirmed with Charlie's vet's office that he did receive his six week shots there. Dog Info: Charlie is a friendly little fellow and is good with both men and women, male and female dogs, and cats. He can also follow voices and comes when called. He is not possessive of toys, treats or food and has not shown aggression. Charlie does bump into things more often than not, but we're told he is typically able to redirect himself. Charlie's owners want us to know what a sweet puppy he is, and they gave us more details about how they work with him. They tell us that Charlie is a very active and happy puppy who likes to play. He has toys he plays with on his own and also gets playtime with the other dogs in the home. They believe Charlie can see shadows. They've started potty training with Charlie but it's been very cold so they are still in the very early stages of this training. Charlie is fed 4xs a day (small portions). When he is hungry, he will nibble anything he can get his teeth on (including his humans in a fun way). Please email [email protected] if you're interested in Charlie. Please note we will ask for a vet reference. ***Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
