About Tessa

Please read entire ad as she needs a female only home with no small children. Tessa is a sweet, calm, and very shy girl who's had a really rough life, and has come incredibly far in the few short months since she's been rescued. She's housebroken, spayed and up to date on all shots and LOVES other friendly dogs. Great with cats too. Loves to be outside and go on 'sniff walks'. She has two floating knees (levels 1 and 2) which, worse case scenario, may require surgery in the future, but will most likely be treatable with medication as she gets older. I am willing to keep her on my pet insurance for a few months. She was rescued from a puppy mill where she was used as a breeding dog, and spent her entire life in a cage with no socialization. She is about 4 years old. She's come such a long way and knows some basic commands She has potential to be a great dog. She sleeps through the night, and is playful when outside. She bonds so quickly with women and is a velcro dog, but is terrified of men and has growled and snapped at my son and other male guests.A female only home with another dog would be ideal Email or text for videos, more photos or more info.
