About Gertie

Gertie is a very sweet pure bred golden Siberian Forest cat (hypoallergenic). She is very social and likes to snuggle up with us. She does get the zoomies and can be a bit high energy at times. She really needs to be in a home with a playmate (another cat to romp around with) and at this time, we are not in a position to provide that for her. She needs a lot of attention and play time and with having a toddler and a newborn, I feel a lot of guilt that I am not giving her the best life that she deserves. She tries to play with me as though I am another cat/sibling cat and she will try to wrap her paws around my legs and nip at my feet...this is very PLAYFUL, but obviously I don't want to play like that and this is why I truly believe she would do best with having a sibling cat to play with. We have a dog she plays with on occasion, but he's an old grump and doesn't always reciprocate play. I would like to recoup at least some of the cost for her so I have set my adoption fee to $1500. Most Siberians are $1800-2000+ I do also have the breeder's info should you want to speak with her, she is aware of my predicament and need to rehome her. Gertie is spayed and received her kitten vaccines but is due for her annual vaccinations at this time. She is litter box trained and has not had any accidents outside the box.
