Jessie turns 3 in March and we believe she is full bred. She's still young and is very much a protective alpha female type with that classic coonhound howl. She does very well with the other big dogs in the house as well as the small dogs she's met. She loves walks and would thrive with a farm or some property, or with somebody active who likes to walk or hike. She could still be trained for hunting with an experienced trainer, but she'd also love just to curl up on the couch with you and Netflix at the end of a long day. Jessie does great with all of the adults she knows, but she is being rehomed due to nipping a child (scratch, no blood). She has never had issues with kids over age 10. We hope to find a great family for her as she's very smart and active, great with other dogs, and has so much potential. Her next annual vet visit is 2/26, so shots will be UTD if adopted after that date. If interested, please first text 845-213-9780 to set up a phone call as there are too many scam calls in 2024.
