About Nick

Nick -approximately 1 yr old male Great Dane -UTD on vet care, vaccine & preventatives -Good with other dogs -Cats unknown - Kids 8+ yrs old unless they're recently lived with a giant breed dog -Giant breed experience PREFERRED -PHYSICAL fence REQUIRED -Crate trained and housebroken -Location Reidsville NC -We adopt NATIONWIDE Nick (St Nick) is a true Christmas miracle, pulled from a shelter on Christmas Eve. Nick is a very loving boy and truly a Velcro dog wanting to be near you at all times. He loves his toys, especially the ones that squeak and is mesmerized watching the birds! Nick is crate trained and housebroken and will quickly let you know he's 'gotta go' vocally or by pacing and walking to the door. He's very food/treat motivated and has quickly began learning commands 'Sit', 'Shake', 'Stay', 'Kennel Up' and 'Leave It'. He continues to work on his leash manners as he gets excited at times. Nick does well with other dogs and would do best with another that matches his energy. He would also be just as happy having his humans all to himself. Nick is UTD on vet care, vaccines and preventatives. He is currently in a foster home in the Reidsville NC area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up.
