About Onyx

Onyx is a neutered, dwarf / lop mix. He is fully grown at 5lb and is estimated to be 5/6 years old. He is litter-box trained and his foster describes him as an inquisitive guy with a HUGE appetite. The prospect of food will have Onyx running to you -- hay, pellets, veggies, treats, you name it. Food is definitely the way to his heart and he'll settle down to let you watch (and sometimes get some head rubs in) as he enjoys his snack. *This appetite is the reason many lops end up obese and his forever family will need to be strict with snacks and not overfeed pellets & greens.* After his friend Muffin was adopted Onyx has become more social and outgoing with people, he is very easy to handle and approaches for pets.
