About Rosie

Meet Rosie. A 13 month old Great Dane / Australian Shepard mix. She is one of the most loving animals we've ever come across. She LOVES children. She's VERY large and still a puppy (13 months) and sometimes forgets how large she is so wouldn't recommend for anyone with balance issues as my concern would be her accidentally knocking her down. Rosie loves to 'track'. We have a neighboring property that is leased by hunters and she is in danger here. She gets out of the fence and our other dog has already been shot with a nonlethal that required surgery as it struck and artery the cauterization wouldn't fix so he needed to be put to sleep to stitch the vessel. Every single day I'm in fear for my dogs as my kids are younger and will let them out without watching them, and they'll escape. I'm desperately searching for a forever home for her and her brother (catahoula mix) at this point I'm okay with them being separated as long as they are SAFE and LOVED! Rosie is kennel trained but does have the occasional accident if not walked frequently. She never has an accident in the kennel so no concerns of her having accidents if she sleeps in her kennel at night or if you're at work. She knows a few commands such as sit, lay, give me paw.
