About Leah

Leah is a foster with Glynn County Animal Services. The Humane Society is listing Leah on behalf of the foster. A note from Leah's foster mom: This is my foster dog, Leah, from Glynn County Animal Services, Brunswick GA. She is an Australian Shepherd mix, spayed, approximately 3-4 years old, 55 lbs. Animal Services confiscated her from an abuse/neglect situation; I have had her as a foster since October 2023. Needless to say she has had a lot to overcome, primarily learning to trust. But this very smart girl has become a loving, loyal part of our home dog pack! She is so very sweet once she gets to know you and feels comfortable in her surroundings. She is housebroken and crate-trained, was cat tested at the shelter and showed no interest in them. I feel she would do best in a quieter household as a solo dog or with one other companion dog.
