About Rocky

Rocky is a great dog, very loyal and loves being with his people. Due to no fault of his own he is in need of a new home where he can be as spoiled and loved as he was here. He walks fairly well on leash and harness, knows basic commands but is food/treat motivated to show you what he knows! I'm not sure how well he does with cats as we don't have any and the random stray cat that comes around isn't allowed to socialize with Rocky. It's possible with the right person and time that he could maybe live with a cat but it's not something I would recommend due to the breeds prey drive. He loves all people and little ones that he's met, he loves to lay on the sofa or recliner even though he doesn't fit well on a recliner. I never crated him when I would go out or go to work but I think he would catch on quick. He just got his shots from the vet and a clean bill of health, he will come with his current food that's left, his harness, his favorite blanket that you can always find him napping on and any extras that I have for him. He really is an amazing dog who loves to be around his family, napping, playing ball, he loves big soup bones, belly rubs and being outside when it's nice out. I'll be picky when it comes to his new home, so please own your home, if you rent I need to get a written copy from your landlord stating you can Have a big dog who's a shepherd as well as a contact number for the landlord as well. You don't need a fenced yard but a very secure tie out(not a ground twist stake) because he's 80lbs and muscle!
