About Gracie

This is Gracie, adventurous, afraid of nothing, natural born leader, Gracie. She loves to cuddle and look into your eyes to let you know how much she loves you. We found Gracie and her two sisters injured and orphaned on a farm across the road when they were about 3-4 weeks old. Gracie was the one that lead her sisters to my husband to ask for help, despite her injuries (she had a large wound on her right foreleg) and complete lack of knowledge of humans. We bottle-fed the babies until weaned, so they are strongly bonded to their human parents and each other. Gracie would do well without her sisters if she had plenty of human luvs, but if you are looking to add more than one kitty to your home, these sisters would be the perfect choice. (Sisters are also listed in Rescue Me - Dottie and Birdie -black kitties, not Blues) She is now 8 months old, spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. She, along with her sisters, have had run of the 10 acres we live on, and she is an avid hunter of moles, voles, gophers and mice. These girls are accustomed spending nights indoors. All are great about using their litter box or going outside to do their business, and are familiar with dog/cat door use. Gracie was raised with cat-friendly dogs and would do well with other dogs with proper introduction. However, because of her lack of fear and lack of a cautious side, introductions must be made while keeping her safe from herself! She was also raised with three other foster kittens (besides her sisters) and their mother, so I believe with proper introduction she would do well with other cats also. She enjoys the company of the other cats in our household and enjoys hunting and exploring with them. We are rehoming Dottie and her sisters because our daughter, son-in-law, and 4yr old grandson will be moving in with us for about a year, and our grandson is very allergic to cats.
