LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Lots of love and a fenced yard. Floral is one of the sweetest little girls ever! She had been seen running the road between two businesses for months before somebody was able to catch her. She came into rescue pretty scared but adapted much quicker than we thought she would. Floral loves people. She loves nothing more than being cuddled up next to her person. One of her favorite spots to lie is on the back of the sofa with her legs touching her person's shoulders. She is very kissy and loves, loves to be held and hugged. Floral is still a puppy with a lot of bouncy energy. She greets you with happy jumps straight up off the ground like she has springs in her feet and she happily runs and plays inside and out. She gets along great with other dogs but might be okay as an only dog as long as she didn't spend much time alone. (We think she would prefer the company of another dog though.) As active as she is we are surprised that she has not chosen to play with any dogs yet although she likes to run around the yard with them. She ignores cats and has been around older kids and did great. Floral is pretty good on a leash, knows how to use the doggie door, and is doing well with her potty training. She has had a couple of accidents inside but she is so eager to please that once she is shown the proper routine and has a lot of consistency and praise, she will pick it up quickly in a new home. A fully fenced yard is preferred for her. She is not a fan of being in the car and gets pretty anxious on trips. At night Floral absolutely wants to sleep curled up next to her person. To do otherwise would break her heart! Floral has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, wormed, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't find a happier, more loving little girl than Floral! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
