Crate trained: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes Good with kids: Yes Concerns: None BIOGRAPHY Meet Polo! He is Polo an adorable long-haired dachshund who is approximately 12-13 years old. He has the sweetest personality and just wants to cuddle or sleep most of the day! He enjoys his walks and loves to engage with other people, dogs and even cats! Most people can't believe he's a senior citizen because of his lively and spunky demeanor. Polo was given up for adoption when his owner passed away a few months ago. He's been in foster care since then awaiting dental surgery and neutering. He has successfully recovered from both surgeries and hasn't missed a beat! Foster mom adores him and would adopt him herself, but with her travel and work schedule she feels it wouldn't be fair to him. This lover boy deserves to be the center of someone's universe! Other than still learning to not mark his territory indoors, Polo is just the perfect dog! We are hoping that after his recent neuter, the marking will diminish. It would also be helpful if he had another well-trained dog in the home to model good potty habits after. Polo is vaccinated, microchipped and has had a recent dental, as mentioned above.
