About Luna

We've had Luna from 11 months old as a rescue from a friend who unfortunately found out that she was pregnant when she took her back, at that time she was fearful of men as her previous owner underfed her and kept her mainly in the conservatory and small garden. At that time she didn't know what a collar was let alone a lead. However since then she has gained weight and is happy going for walks that she never did as a puppy. She has come on in leaps and bounds and doesn't have the fear she had of men that she did when we first had her, probably because we run a pub and a lot of the customers that she encounters are male. quite a few of which she has made friends with. However she doesn't get the stimulation or activity that a dog of her breed needs, She is mixed breed and part Labrador but her predominant breed is collie. We want Luna to have the best life possible and maybe she would thrive more with someone who has collie experience and can challenge her mentally. She currently lives with 3 other dogs although she does try to be the dominant one of the pack. We love her to bits but don't feel that pub life is a suitable fit for her, she's still young and really needs somewhere that she can run off the boundless energy that she has and maybe teach her to be more collie. This has been one of the hardest decisions that we've had to do but she needs to come first
