About Baloo

We named this handsome dog Baloo after the bear from the Jungle Book. He's living up to his namesake too! He'll balance upright on his back paws if you have a treat - he'll try and walk a step or two! He'll even give an excited wiggle. Make no mistake: Baloo WILL dance for treats! Treats seem to be Baloo's biggest love in life. He doesn't know any commands yet, but snacks draw all his focus. He's typically independent and happy to find his own fun, but when you have a snack he's all about paying attention to you. Baloo has an average energy level. He can be playful or calm as the situation calls for. Baloo is a 2YO Staffordshire who came into the shelter as a stray on 10/31/23. He weighs 56 lbs.
