About Spike

Spike is just the best boy. He's super calm, sweet, and gentle and always ready to be loved on. He loves attention in all its forms and is always ready to be pet. He sits like a handsome gentleman by your side soaking it all up for as long as you'll pet him. He likes toys and playing with them, but he'll abandon them in a heartbeat if he thinks there's an opportunity for a treat or attention. Spike already knows how to sit on command, and takes his treats gently from your hand. He's also gently when walking on leash. He has an average energy level and it doesn't take much to burn his energy! Spike came to us as an injured stray on 1/23/24. We're not sure exactly what happened to him, but he had a dime sized wound exposing some of his organs. Our medical team got him all fixed up, and you'd never know it now! Spike is a 1YO Staffordshire who came into the shelter as a stray on 1/23/24. He weighs 67 lbs.
