About Magic

Beautiful, super smart, white-chested, affectionate Tuxedo cat whom I rescued 10 months ago. She was outdoors, quite emaciated, apparently abandoned by her family even though she is declawed. She was unable to defend herself or hunt. I started putting food out for neighborhood strays and she started coming to eat. Three weeks in, she approached me and meowed fiercely and looked at the door. I brought her in and started feeding her as much wet food as she would eat. I fell in love w this brave, smart, beautiful cat, ever hopeful that Magic and my 2 MCs would accept each other. I've tried just about everything but my little Alpha cat does not want another cat in the house. I don't know how Magic is with dogs but I'm pretty sure she has been chased by dogs so I doubt it would work too well. Magic is extremely smart and knows many English words. She is affectionate (she puts her paw or head on my hand when we're sitting close together) and she has perfect litter box manners. She is vocal and apparently has some opinions on how things should be. If she's unhappy, she'll politely complain. I love this cat dearly, and I know what a remarkable girl she is. She was not treated properly even before they dumped her. She was afraid of me in the beginning which didn't last long, thank heavens, and she had no idea what a treat was or a toy. She does now. She's got all her shots and she's spayed. Shw was vet checked and doesn't have FIV or feline leukemia. She eats good quality wet food, and dry food as well. All her toys and things will go with her. She is so loved and I want that for her once she's in a new home. I know animals and even after being mistreated and thrown away by her pet parents, she trusts and loves completely. She is amazing. She does not favor her feet at all, so I don't believe they are painful. She has a good appetite, and she's weight appropriate now.
