About Stacey

Hello �'�|. My name is 'Stacey'. I have a miracle story to tell you. I had a rough start, but was rescued when I was desperate for help. A nice woman, whose name is Stacey, rescued me and my four new born babies from under an abandoned trailer. My foster mom named me Stacey because she was grateful to the wonderful woman who made the decision not to walk away when I needed help. So now, I have a name and it is in honor of the woman Stacey who saved me. When the woman was working in a trailer park, someone told her there were two, yes, two, mommies with puppies, who had given birth under a trailer. No one in the park owned them and they were stray dogs. The woman could not walk away and leave two mommies with puppies. She took both moms and all the puppies. My babies were only 24 hours old and tiny new born. We were taken to my foster mom's house where she cleaned us, treated us for infested fleas and set up a wonderful mom/puppy area. My babies were born on October 3rd and I arrived here on October 4th. Since that day, I have been loved beyond measure. I have eaten well, seen our wonderful vet a couple times and am now ready to find my forever home. All four of my babies have been adopted to incredible homes and it is now time for me to start my new life. I hear my foster mom talking about me and this is what she says�'�| she tells people that I am two years old. Our vet suggested I am a beagle-terrier mix, but no one knows exactly. I am a beautiful, reddish, short hair coat. I weighed 17lbs at the vet when I was spayed. My puppy milk has dried up and I am getting my girlish figure back. I am over-the-top loving. When my foster mom walks through the yard, I like to stand up and hug her. I also learned that if I jump on the bed at night, she lets me curl up and sleep on her side. Now that my puppies are adopted, I spend all my time lying next to my foster mom and playing with other foster dogs. I am happy, well behaved, shy in the beginning, but will warm up. Another foster mom babysat me four days in December during a trip and it only took one day for me to lay on her lap as well. The love I can offer to a human is just unbelievable. I don't even know how I can love this much, but I have so much love and affection to give. My foster mom has been really good to me. She allowed me to feel safe, warm and loved during the time I was raising my babies. It's a new start for me. Adoption fee $400 Rescue is accepting applications within a 50 mile radius of Sarasota. This dog is amazing.
