About Goldie

Sweet Goldie. She is maybe 30lbs and maybe 1.5 years old. This poor little girl was saved from living on a hoarder property in central Ca where 59 dogs were living outside, over breeding. She is just a young girl herself, but she has already had at least one litter. To prevent her from getting pregnant again, the people on the property kept her in a crate for the last time she was in heat, she's been fixed now, so no more babies for this beautiful girl. Goldie is shy/scared around people, not surprising since she was not properly socialized and was living in a crazy situation. She went into a foster home where she hid under the bed for a long time, but did interact w/a litter of kittens they had there. The family that was fostering her couldn't keep her so she had to go to an outside kennel foster. They are trying to work w/her on getting used to people, but don't have a lot of time to spend w/her so we are REALLY hoping a long term foster, foster to adopt or adoptive home will come forward to help her. She is sweet and just shy/scared, she needs a patient home that will work w/her and help her build her confidence. She would do good in a home w/a yard and a sound/balanced dog that she could mirror. This deserving girl REALLY needs someone to step up and want her. Save her. All the dogs from this property have done amazingly well in their foster/forever homes, she just needs the chance to shine. She is in central Ca, but for a foster to adopt or adopter transport can be arranged.
