About 'Puppy'

This guy was abandoned on our family property or nearby right before Christmas. He's approximately 1 year old & 40-50 pounds.My neighbor in Auburn had one also that looked identical. They're very loyal & loving dogs that like to have a purpose. Thanks to my sister in law, he is very healthy! He has an amazing dog house & definitely needs somewhere to run, preferably with other dogs. He loves cats too but enjoys playing with my 3 dogs. Unfortunately the collar isn't doing well. We let some time go by but whatever the trauma was that happened to him makes him upset over his collar. When he came to us he was cut up all around the sides of the neck & luckily it began healing. My sister in law wanted to try to leash train but he didn't like this. He's going to need a very patient new home on that part. My sister in law has health issues & really wants to find him a wonderful home. He's on Bravecto that treats fleas amongst many other things. She will send his toys, collar, and doghouse which is so nice! We have a large crate for transportation for the new owner to keep. He's got a ton of energy and needs somewhere to run. He isn't neutered. I want to add we live too close to to 280. If anyone would love a family dog that loves other pets, please let me know! I realize I've asked a lot due to the cats I've recently posted but we want to do what is best for him. This wasn't an easy decision due to his sweet & loving personality. When he was first abandoned, he had some mange on his face & was sickly. His neck was covered in cuts & infected. We assumed abuse due him being so afraid of everyone. He's a brand new dog now with no mange or anything! Some time has gone by now to know that he will be an amazing addition to a family. Small clip attatched! Just a quick 'again' : He needs lots of patience with the collar & leash training if he's ever able, space to run preferably away from major roads, & plenty of love!
