About Carlos

Let Carlos be your amigo! This sweet one-year-old, 45-pound lab mix has waited his whole life for a home. One by one, Carlos saw his littermates get adopted, but his fear of humans is probably the reason he wasn't chosen. It's just really hard for him to meet people. He's very timid but doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Though super shy with people, fellow dogs are another story! Carlos lights up around other fur friends and loves to play. He must be adopted to a home with another dog. A pal will help build his confidence, but he also needs a special pet parent to guide him. Whatdya say? Could you give Carlos some time and space? Step by step, he will open up if given guidance, patience, and lots of love. He will not disappoint! Since he is timid, Carlos should not live with young kids who can easily startle him.
